Club Fit For Business is a CSR initiative of Blue Pencil connecting business people that have a passion for sport as well as promoting the wider message of sport and its values.

Blue Pencil was proud to support the latest Club Fit For Business/Creative Zone business breakfast in Dubai, the 3rd in a series that is designed to support the SME sector in the Middle East.

This month the panelled discussion was themed “Leadership in the New Digital Age" and the guest speakers were Donna Benton (Founder & CEO of The Entertainer), Sarah Jones (Founder of Mini Exchange), Mona Tavassoli (Founder & CEO of Mompreneurs Middle East). The discussion was moderated by Saana Azzam (Managing Director of MENA Speaker).

With the setting being the award-winning Tresind Restaurant conveniently located on Sheikh Zayed Road, it was a perfect venue to network, connect and build relationships as well as learn invaluable skills from highly successful business leaders.

Steve Mayne, Managing Director of CREATIVE ZONE said:-

We were rewarded with an insightful perspective from three individually successful business women. Their business models and approach to entrepreneurship was unique and yet they each shared the same passion and drive. There were lots of great advice bytes for attendees; from scaling digital teams, keeping focus, balance, learning from mistakes, what technology to use for different target audiences and of course having fun on the way! It is going to be a hard act to follow but we are already well underway with organising the next event.

Luke Tapp, the Middle East Ambassador for Club Fit For Business said:-

“We were delighted to have such an informative and interesting session with three very successful entrepreneurs at our event hosted with CREATIVE ZONE. The panel gave a real insight to how they and their businesses have achieved their success and growth. The panel brought different experiences and backgrounds into the discussion and it was an entertaining and lively discussion.”

As a Blue Pencil CSR initiative, one of the aims of Club Fit For Business is to bring together the sports business community and encourage business relationships through the sharing of connections, knowledge and information. With a solid platform for SME’s to share information, contacts and knowledge with like-minded members of the sport business community, it’s a great way of encouraging entrepreneurship.

We look forward to sponsoring the next event.
